We collect the minimum personal information required to operate effectively, only storing a user’s name, email address, ip address, gender, decade of birth, social media URLs, reading preferences and reading history. We hold this data securely and use it for the following purposes:

  • to make the most precise and reliable personal reading recommendations
  • to send users relevant email communications and weekly newsletters
  • to enter users in competitions and prize draws hosted by Bookaxe
  • to prevent or detect fraud

Bookaxe is not responsible for the practices, content or privacy policies of websites and applications that link to or from our application.

Bookaxe is a limited company, registered at Companies House, UK. Should Bookaxe be sold or integrated with another business, user information may be disclosed to our advisers and any prospective purchasers' advisers. They will also be transferred to any new owners for use in the same ways as our policy describes.
