I'm currently reading Eleanor Oliphant is completely fine a novel by Gail Honeyman for the third time! But I really do love this book, I heard that they'll be making the book into a movie, hope it’s good, but knowing me I'd probably won't want to see it when it's out as I don't want to spoil the reading experience and the image of how all the characters look like in my mind. Does anyone else get like that/think like I do?
Oh, I didn't know Eleanor Oliphant was going to be a movie. How interesting. I'm kind of the opposite, though! If I've loved the book, I can't wait to see the movie. That's not to say that I always like it, but either way, I'm intrigued about what they'll do. Are there any book to movie adaptations you have enjoyed, Naomi? I loved Life of Pi, which is one of my favourite novels.
It's not a movie but the first book from A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin A Game of Thrones on HBO the series as it's very true to the book. I do like the first movie of Harry Potter and the philosopher's stone but I do prefer the book more! Think I'm fussy lol.
Nothing wrong with high standards! I LOVE HBOs GoT but I haven't yet made the enormous life commitment of reading the books!
You should he's a brillant story teller! But the books are completely different to the HBO series. I'm looking forward to his new book Fire & Blood which is being released in November (already pre-ordered mine) can't wait :-)
Oh, yes! Scott is really looking forward to that too!
