In my mind, there is not that much of a difference between Shatter Me and Unravel Me. Everything was kind of the same, but slightly better and also slightly worse.
Juliette was a lot more horny and proceeded to have a lot more angsty stuff going on that definitely wasn't important at all, and everyone told her this except they were so "mean" with it you're forced to side with Juliette (despite them being right the entire time).
Adam is, if anything, more possessive than anything else. He forcibly kisses Juliette to prevent her from doing something, and she doesn't shove him aside because she's still attracted to him, so then they start going at it, and it turns into this whole mess. He's also really angry whenever Juliette is in a room alone with a guy that's not him, and also goes on this whole depressing spiel every 20 minutes about how he doesn't know how to live without Juliette and how much he needs her in his life.
Warner tries to redeem himself somewhat, apologizes for his earlier behavior, and after reading his novella, we are meant to be fully on board with him. However, it doesn't make sense why Juliette is on board with him when she knows nothing that we know, unless Juliette is simply that horny.
The best thing about this book is Castle and Kenji, who constantly say what I want to say to Juliette if I were in this book. Kenji especially, I adore Kenji and I don't know who wouldn't.
Other than that, dumpster fire.
